Touring AERO 3

  • When it comes to commissioned coachbuilding, Touring is a reference player with an incredibly rich history since 1926. When Touring Superleggera presented the Aero3, it’s clear the Italian design house was inspired by the low-drag aerodynamics that have been central to its design philosophy from the 1930s. The clean lines and great purity of form known from the “Ala Spessa” design principle are continued, updated and refined with the Aero3.

The 1938 Alfa Romeo 8C 2900 B Le Mans Berlinetta has been one of the inspirations of the Belgian designer Louis de Fabribeckers who designed the Touring Superleggera Aero3. The result is clear: a stunning two-seater high performance machine, shaped by the wind and readifly identifiable as a rare fuoriserie.

The Italian craftmen spend 5.000 hours on each car to achieve the level of perfection that is required to meet Touring’s standards. No more than 15 units will be produced by Touring Superleggera.
